M-extend partners with Blablacar Daily for more sustainable mobility

M-extend is committed to sustainable and accessible mobility thanks to its partnership with BlaBlaCar Daily and Rennes Metropolitan Area.

At M-extend, we are proud to support environmentally friendly transport solutions and promote sustainable mobility. In 2022, we received the Gold label for “sustainable mobility” awarded by Rennes Metropolitan Area, rewarding our efforts to encourage public transport, cycling and carpooling. Today, we are going even further by partnering with BlaBlaCar Daily, the daily carpooling app, in collaboration with Rennes Métropole.

A commitment already anchored within M-extend.

To date, nearly 20% of our employees already use carpooling regularly, and we are convinced that this partnership with BlaBlaCar Daily and Covoit’star will further promote the adoption of this mode of transport. This is part of our commitment to sustainable, economical and environmentally friendly mobility. Thanks to the support of Rennes Métropole, rides are free for passengers until 30 June 2025.

Covoit’star: Benefits for our employees

Thanks to Covoit’star, a service financed by Rennes Metropolitan Area, our employees can now enjoy numerous benefits by practising carpooling with people directly on the app, including:

• Savings in transport costs due to reduced fuel costs.
• Sharing pleasant moments with their colleagues but also being connected with carpoolers in the metropolis.
• Acting for the environment by reducing CO2 emissions.
