GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Foreword
Any person browsing the “m-extend.com” website (hereinafter the “Site”) or using the services of the Site (hereinafter the “User”) expressly acknowledges that these General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Site (hereinafter the “GTCs”) are fully and unconditionally applicable to them. Users acknowledge that any action on their part on the Site is likely to result in their liability, and through their intervention, the company with which they have the capacity of agent, if applicable. The User acknowledges that they must respect and comply fully with the GTCs of the Site.

Purpose of the Site
These terms and conditions of use apply to any internet user visiting the www.m-extend.com Site and to all domain names and sites registered by M-extend to present its company, products, services and network. The purpose of the GTCs is to define the terms, conditions and procedures under which access to the site and the services it offers is proposed. M-extend or any subsidiary replacing it may modify the GTCs of the Site at any time and without prior notice. The User is responsible for checking this page regularly for any possible changes. The User is advised to refer to the latest version of the GTCs on a regular basis. The User is deemed to accept this latest version each time the Site is accessed.
The purpose of the Site is, among other things:
- to present the M-extend company and its subsidiaries
- to communicate to the public all kinds of information (M-extend group news, financial and legal information, etc.)
The Site is subject to change in order to meet the expectations of its Users. M-extend may modify the content of the Site and suspend certain features of the Site at any time and without prior notice, without M-extend being liable for the consequences of such modifications for the User.
Access to the site – Use
The User acknowledges being appropriately equipped, particularly in respect of IT, telecommunications and security requirements, to access and use this site.
M-extend makes every effort to make the site accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Notwithstanding, the procedures and operations for testing, checking and maintenance, as well as any necessary interventions in the event of breakdowns, may be carried out by M-extend at any time. Furthermore, M-extend reserves the right to close or make inaccessible all or part of the Site, particularly for maintenance operations or at the request of any judicial authority and in the event of force majeure. M-extend endeavours to notify the User, to the extent possible, of the occurrence of any such operations.
All equipment, communications, telecommunications and other costs and fees necessary for connecting to and using the Site, as well as any necessary authorisations relating thereto, are at the User’s expense.
Hyperlinks
The Site is likely to contain hyperlinks to other sites (“third-party sites”). M-extend has no control over these third-party sites, which are managed independently by their operators. Consequently, M-extend cannot be held liable under any circumstances for any prejudicial consequences for the User for accessing a third-party site following the activation of a hyperlink on the Site.
Cookies
In order to better serve the Users of the Site, M-extend may automatically install “cookies” or other similar technologies on their Internet browsers. Cookies enable M-extend to store information relating to navigation on the Site and/or enable the identified User to automatically access certain specific services. The User has the option to reject the storage of cookies by configuring their internet browser to this end, in accordance with the instructions of the publisher. In this case, the User accepts a degradation in the functionality and usability of the Site.
In order to better serve Users of the Site, M-extend may utilise local storage technology. Local storage enables non-personal information relating to navigation on the Site to be recorded.
Cookies may also serve the following purposes:

Social media
The Site uses third-party applications that allow Users to share content from the Site with other persons or to share their opinion of any content on the Site with these other persons. These include “Share” buttons that link to social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
When a User visits a page on the Site containing such a button, their browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the social network.
If they are connected to the social network while browsing, the application buttons allow the pages viewed to be linked to their User account.
If a User does not want the social network to link the information collected via the Site to their user account, they must log out of the social network before visiting the Site.
Personal Data
Users may visit the Site without being obliged to reveal their identity or any other personal information.
M-extend collects and implements automated processing of personal data entered by Users when creating their contact request via the form available on the Site. These data are necessary for the management of requests and, where applicable, for the production of the Site’s performance statistics.
The data collected may include personal data (such as names, contact details, telephone numbers) and electronic identification data available on or from your computer (such as cookies or IP addresses).
M-extend and its subsidiaries and/or affiliates are the sole recipients of the collected data. Personal data will only be transferred outside the European Union in the event that the requests relate to subsidiaries located outside the EU.
Users’ personal data will be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
In accordance with Data Protection regulations and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, the User has the right to information, and to access, rectify, oppose and delete data concerning them, by sending an e-mail to the following address: [email protected] . For us to be able to comply with this request, you will need to provide us with information necessary to identify you: surname, first name, e-mail and, if applicable, your postal address.
M-extend undertakes to implement all necessary precautions to preserve the confidentiality and security of the data collected, to prevent it from being distorted or damaged, and to prevent unauthorised third parties having access to it.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its content are the property of M-extend and/or have been duly licensed to M-extend, in respect of both its general concept and the software, graphics, databases, source codes, design, photographs and images, text, drawings, sounds, brands and logos and all other works that make up the content of the Site. The User undertakes to strictly respect these intellectual property rights.
Any representation, reproduction or dissemination, in whole or in part, of the Site, whether free of charge or for a consideration, made without the prior written consent of M-extend is prohibited. Violation of these provisions would be likely to constitute an act of infringement within the meaning of the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code.
No provision, transmission or communication of documents via the Site may be deemed to grant a licence or assignment to the User of the related intellectual property rights.
Hyperlinks to the Website may only be created with the prior written consent of M-extend, which consent may be revoked at any time.
The User undertakes to strictly respect these intellectual property rights.
Responsabilities
M-extend makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information presented on the Site. M-extend, or any substituted subsidiary, shall not be held liable for the interpretation, exhaustiveness, completeness and updating of the data and information contained on the Site.
The User is responsible for verifying this information. All documentation other than the GTCs, on any medium whatsoever, such as a leaflet or catalogue, issued through the Site is for information purposes only.
M-extend makes every effort to make the Site accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The User is solely responsible for their arrangements for connecting to the Internet, and for their use of the Site.
M-extend may at any time carry out testing, inspection and maintenance operations and other interventions on the Site.
M-extend may at any time interrupt, close or make inaccessible all or part of the Site in order to carry out any adaptation, particularly for the purposes of updating information, making improvements (additions, etc.), correcting any anomalies, or making any other adjustment deemed necessary; or at the request of any judicial authority and in the event of force majeure.
M-extend shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, tangible or intangible, loss of profits or loss of opportunity resulting directly or indirectly from, notably but not exclusively, the consultation or use of the information and services offered by the Site. In particular, M-extend accepts no liability in the event of failure of the Site, a security breach or any damage resulting from fraudulent acts by third parties (such as intrusions) via the Site.
The User therefore waives any recourse against M-extend for all damages of any kind whatsoever such as, and without this list being exhaustive: loss of data, programs or files; financial losses; deterioration of computer equipment (including, notably, connections, software or hardware); the appearance of viruses due to access, use or non-availability of the Site; recourse relating to rights and licences required for use of and access to the Site.
