The M-extend student challenge

This year, M-extend challenged students from various backgrounds on the theme of Digital, CSR and Human Relations. “How can we collect and showcase user data to make handling work easier for farmers and develop the company’s CSR commitment?” This was the topic that taxed the brains of 13 students, split into three teams, during the Digital Transformers Challenge held in Rennes from 27 to 29 January 2022.

The Digital Transformers Challenge consists of two intense days of trying to solve digital transformation problems submitted by regional businesses. The multidisciplinary teams of students taking part compete to present proposals for innovative solutions. The subject proposed by M-extend France is at the intersection of the company’s three strategic areas of development: – The user of our products, our priority – Simply digitalisation – CSR at the heart of what we do The company’s participation in this student challenge has a dual objective: – to gain fresh perspectives and obtain proposals for innovative solutions – to meet students from a variety of training courses, to listen to them and to support them on this two-day challenge

Déborah Gohard, CSR Manager

It is important for us to get out there and meet the students. These two days spent guiding them and then listening to them are as rewarding for them as they are for us. This challenge allows them to work on real problems that arise within our organisations and prepares them for the difficult scenario exercise. Well done and thank you to the University of Rennes 1 for this event, full of wonderful encounters
